Aluminium coating

Aluminium coating fights corrosion
Various long-lasting field tests prove the resistance of aluminium that will be used in future for optimum surface sealing. "We have very good experience in the field of hinges and fitting parts" confirms the Head of Quality Management. The galvanic coating with aluminium guarantees extremely high corrosion protection as well as temperature resistance and is thus optimally suitable for outdoor applications.
Extreme formability, comprehensive biocompatibility, sophisticated design possibilites
are additional features.

Why aluminium coating?
- Material with largest deposit of all raw materials.
- Aluminium is considered to be unperilous and fabric-compatible.
- Metallic silvery colour with high reflectivity against light and heat.
- Can be spray-finished, glued, extrusion-coated with rubber.
- Light specific weight: 2.7 g/cm³.
- Anti-corrosive, no white rust formation.
- High corrosion resistance thanks to natural oxide film.
- Possibility of chemical or electrochemical reinforcement of this oxide film for increasing the corrosion and abrasion resistance.
- Extreme formability due to high ductility of aluminium.
- High temperature resistance up to 400 °C
- No hydrogen embrittlement related to the process
- Cr(VI) -free
- Non-toxic
- Non-magnetic
- Good electric and thermal conductivity
- Contact corrosion solution to Al and Mg
