Acoustic keyboard

Operating on any surface
This operating concept is based on the detection of sound waves in solid objects. The technology, patented by a company called "Sensitive Objects", opens up numerous human-machine interaction applications, for example in control consoles, command panels or touchscreens.
Behind this technology is the basic physical principle that touching an object at a particular point sets off a vibration with a typical acoustic "signature" for that point. These signatures are assigned to specific actions, so that individual operation on very different surfaces is possible.
